The National Park Service has contracted CHC to conduct a cultural resources inventory of newly acquired properties of the City of Rocks National Resource Area. This project is part of a larger endeavor entitled Improving Archaeology Site Documentation and Interpretation in South East Idaho. Another component of this project is the reanalysis of materials excavated in the 1980s from Baker Caves, a series of lava tube caves that contains an Archaic Period bison kill.
